Shanna Shipin

Shanna Shipin is a freelance writer, editor, and consultant who’s worked in publishing for nearly a decade. She currently specializes in beauty, motherhood and parenting, and lifestyle content. Previously, she served as commerce director and managing editor for shopping content at Allure, Glamour, SELF, and Teen Vogue. Shanna is a longtime contributor to Glamour, and has been published in The Cut, Allure, GQ, and Well+Good, among others. She holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA, where she studied classical civilizations, English, and broadcast journalism. When she’s not looking for ways to get overseas sunscreen into her top drawer, you can find her in Los Angeles, (responsibly) soaking up the sun with her kid and drinking beverages that are entirely too hot for Southern California.
