Don’t adjust your screens! You’re not seeing double. It’s just Margot Robbie and Emily Blunt dressed almost exactly the same at the same event, with nearly identical styling to boot.

For the 14th Governor’s Awards on January 9, both actors wore sleek black column dresses with white crystal details at the neckline. Adding to the double-vision illusion, both Robbie and Blunt accessorized with diamond pendant earrings, wore their hair in similar vintage-style curls, and opted for classic soft-glam makeup.

Obviously, Robbie and Blunt did not literally wear the same dress. Robbie’s gown, by Celine, featured a deep V-neck with ruching at the bust and understated cutouts revealing a peik of ab. Blunt’s Miu Miu gown also featured a plunging neckline but went more dramatic with the crystal detailing, with an elaborate decorative piece that mimicked the effect of a large necklace.

It’s highly unlikely that Robbie and Blunt coordinated their Governor’s Awards looks ahead of time, but both women seem to have had the same idea of switching things up after the Golden Globes just a couple of days prior. At those awards Margot Robbie dressed in her usual #Barbiecore pink, accessorizing with a magenta tulle shrug. Emily Blunt, meanwhile, attended the Golden Globes in a highly bedazzled drop-waist Alexander McQueen gown with a sheer skirt and gold leaf embellishments.

Great minds think alike, I suppose. At least, half of the time they do.
