The Best Beauty Looks From the Golden Globes 2024 Red Carpet
It’s officially awards season, and Hollywood’s biggest stars are kicking things off with the Golden Globes 2024. While we’re keeping an eye on the night’s winners, the fashion and beauty looks are taking center stage on the red carpet. Of course, the 2024 nominees came dressed to win—with flawless hair and makeup to match.
We’ve already spotted some of 2024’s biggest beauty trends on the carpet. Winner Da’Vine Joy debuted her take on the popular honey blonde hair, while stars like Rachel Brosnahan and Amanda Seyfried went bold in red lips and vampy smoky eyes respectively.
And then there were the bobs. The biggest haircut of the night showed up on everyone from Greta Lee to Ayo Edebiri. Ahead, the best beauty looks at the Golden Globe Awards 2024.

Margot Robbie
Robbie hit the red carpet in perfect Barbie form with flowing blonde waves and soft peachy makeup. For the perfect golden blonde, colorist Jacob Schwartz used Olaplex products to create a natural version of highlights.
“When I highlight Margot and any of my other clients, I always use about a quarter ounce of Olaplex Nº.1 Bond Multiplier in my lightener, or bleach. That is the most important part,” Schwartz said in a press release. “Then, when I rinsed the foils and took the highlights out, I applied Olaplex Bond Perfector Nº.2 and let it sit in the hair for about 10 minutes. Then I gloss her and use the Olaplex Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and Olaplex Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner.”

Ayo Edebiri
The Bear star proved less is more with glowing skin and a short bob. To get Edebiri’s sun-kissed look, makeup artist Dana Delaney used Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer, Benetint, and PoreFessional Primer.
For the actor’s sleek and shiny bob, celebrity hairstylist Miles Jeffries used Maui Moisture products “Before blow-drying, I prepped the hair with Maui Moisture Frizz-Free Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioning Mist and Maui Moisture Flexible Hold + Coconut Milk Curl Foam Mousse,” Jeffries said in a press release. “I then went through and smoothed the hair with a flatiron and a one-inch curling iron, being sure to add kicks and bends for a softer sleek look with some movement and a little flip. To finish I applied the Maui Moisture Lightweight Curls + Flaxseed Edge Control to the hairline.”

Florence Pugh
Pugh’s faux-hawk stole the show with her blonde hair expertly styled in sweeping waves. She finished the look with simple makeup, opting for neutrals and rosy lips.
For the faux-hawk, hairstylist Adir Abergel drew inspiration from Victorian and Edwardian hairstyles. To prep the hair, he used Virtue Healing Oil, Volumizing Primer, and Volumizing Mousse at the roots. He created a horseshoe shape, then slicked the sides back in vertical sections and twisted from the bottom. To finish, he secured with bobby pins and used a small round brush to create volume at the top.

Lily Gladstone
The Killers of the Flower Moon nominee wore a stunning braided updo with a fresh pink lip. To create her intricate chignon, hairstylist Marc Mena used Better Not Younger products and Great Lengths extensions.
“I wanted to do a nod to Indigenous style, but updos are not common in Indigenous culture,” Mena said in a press release. “You see a lot of braids, so I wanted to incorporate braids into the updo and make it modern and classic.”
To prep the hair, he used Better Not Younger Full Transparency Revitalizing Shampoo and Conditioner, then sprayed on the Lift Me Up Hair Thickener and No Remorse Heat Protection & Taming Spray. To create the braids, each section was sprayed with the Better Not Younger Wake Up Call High-Hold Thickening Hairspray to “make sure that no hairs are coming out and that there’s not any frizz,” says Mena. After each braid was created, Mena gently pulled apart the strands to create volume. “Then I started to criss-cross the braids and pin them behind the chignon with a hairpin, tucking the ends into the chignon.”

Lee put a romantic spin on her signature bob, opting for soft and shiny waves. Celebrity makeup artist Naoko Scintu used Sisley-Paris Color Cosmetics products to create luminous skin and rosy lips and cheeks.

Red lips are having a major resurgence in 2024, as proved by Brosnahan, who wore Stila Cosmetics’ Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso.
To compliment her red look, nail artist Vanessa Sanchez McCullough used Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Wine Stock.
Hairstylist Danielle Priano created an XXL sleek ponytail using SexyHair products, Edrée hair tools, and Bellami hair extensions. She topped things off with an extra-long red bow.

Selena Gomez
Gomez wore an elongated brown smoky eye by makeup artist Melissa Murdick. Murdick created the cat eye shape using Gomez’s own Rare Beauty All of the Above Weightless Eyeshadow Stick in Compassion and Give Yourself Grace Eyeshadow Palette, plus the Perfect Strokes Longwear & Waterproof Gel Eyeliner in Compassion for added definition.
For her elegant topknot, hairstylist Marissa Marino used Living Proof wetcare styling products and Dyson tools. To compliment the rosette accents on her gown, nail artist Tom Bachik used Essie Licorice for the perfect glossy black manicure.

To prep for tonight’s red carpet, facialist Joanna Vargas treated Gerwig with her signature Triple Crown Royale facial. Then makeup artist Molly R. Stern used Le Domaine skin care to create the perfect base.
“I first applied Le Domaine The Serum, a highly concentrated serum that smooths the surface and deeply quenches the skin,” Stern said in a press release. “Next, I applied Le Domaine The Fluid Cream, massaging it into the skin using Jillian Demspey’s Gold Bar to stimulate and intensely moisturize Greta’s complexion.
