On November 7, Glamour hosted its annual Women of the Year Awards in Manhattan. It was a night filled with celebration, fashion, lots of laughter, and even some tears of joy.

Before heading into cocktail hour, our VIP guests for the Women of the Year Awards took a breather in the #SmartTox lounge, hosted by Xeomin, a Women of the Year presenting sponsor.
Guests were offered Pure Celebration (sparkling rosé) at both the lounge and the #SmartTox bars inside; the latter also served up Pure Inspiration spicy margaritas.
Guests got a supersize reminder that women contain multitudes.
Every 2023 Woman of the Year is a multihyphenate. (Supermodel, actor, author, mother, Princeton graduate—and that's just one of them.)
To serve as a reminder that women can be many things, all at once, NurtecODT, a Women of the Year presenting sponsor, lined the steps leading to the WOTY stage with a selection of adjectives (runner, introvert, sister, genius, icon—more than 50 of them, total) so all of our guests saw themselves represented.

The evening kicked off with a special performance by Maggie Rogers.
Rogers wore a glittering-gold fringed dress onstage, the perfect ensemble for a performance at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Selma Blair accepted the Daring to Disrupt Award.
Author, actor, and activist Selma Blair was honored with the night’s Daring to Disrupt Award, presented by Ally. Actor Chloë Grace Moretz introduced Blair with a personal thanks.
“Thank you, Selma, for your courage and resilience,” she said. “Your advocacy disrupts norms and highlights the power of authenticity. You're more than an inspiration, you're a lighthouse guiding us towards empathy and inclusivity. You are a true role model.”
When Blair took the stage, she spoke about combining her passions for disability advocacy and fashion, and what her experience with multiple sclerosis (MS) has taught her.
“It's been an amazing journey because now I have come to think of disability as an olive tree whose branches extend to find a light in each other, to offer peace and hope and healing,” she said in part. Read more about Blair’s passionate speech.
Our College Women of the Year took home a new uniform.
Glamour's 2023 College Women of the Year (CWOTY) have all worn their fair share of uniforms. For the first time ever, all six of the CWOTY were student-athletes.
At Women of the Year, they were surprised with a sartorial welcome to a different kind of team, with custom College Women of the Year varsity jackets, a gift from Motorola Razr (the presenting sponsor of both CWOTY and WOTY).

Glamour editor in chief Samantha Barry returned to the stage in her own CWOTY jacket and told the crowd: “I’ve had a little costume change here, and I’ll tell you why.”
“It’s not because I’m a natural athlete,” she continued, “but we have a few in the room…. In the house we have University of Texas champion swimmer Lydia Jacoby, Cornell volleyball powerhouse Sydney Moore, University of Florida’s gold-medal-winning gymnast Riley McCusker, and University of Arkansas track star Britton Wilson. You’re the best! All of you, including golfer Rose Zang and baller Angel Reese, are getting this special edition varsity jacket from our friends at Motorola Razr. Congrats and keep it up!”
The party continued at Ludlow House.
After the party is the after-party, and the 2023 Women of the Year Awards wrapped with a celebration for the ages at Ludlow House. Guests headed downtown for drinks, bites, dancing, and good vibes. Until next year!
