12 Best Eyebrow Growth Serums That Testers Say Actually Work
For those who have succumbed to over plucking at some point (’90s babies, raise your hands), meet your new besties: the best eyebrow growth serums. “Similar to lash serums, over-the-counter eyebrow growth serums can be helpful for growing longer, and thicker eyebrow hair,” Dustin Portela, DO, a board-certified dermatologist in Idaho, tells Glamour. To help you find the most promising formulas for sparse brows—the ones that actually give you a bushier, fuller look—we asked dermatologists to recommend their favorites, polled our editorial team for their most tried-and-true, and cherry-picked highly rated and well-reviewed options from top retailers.

Does eyebrow growth serum really work?
Over-the-counter brow growth serums really do work but need to be used consistently over many weeks to months, says Dr. Portela. The real miracle worker for regrowrth is a prescription product called Latisse, but if a doctor’s visit is out of the question, OTC beauty products containing the right ingredients (plus a little bit of patience) will also do the trick.
As for what ingredients to look for, keep an eye out for “a prostaglandin or prostaglandin analog, like bimatoprost in the prescription-strength formula Latisse, or isopropyl cloprostenate, like what you’d find in GrandeLash,” Geeta Yadav, MD, a board-certified dermatologist and founder of Facet Dermatology, tells Glamour. Both of these active ingredients take center stage to encourage hair growth, but other notable ingredients in a formulation include peptides and amino acids to directly support brow growth and hyaluronic acid or vitamin E to hydrate and protect the skin, says Dr. Portela.
